    07-16-2007 Minor League Updates

Sarasota in the first game of a double header. 4-0 Reds after 3 and half. Dorn just homered to the opposite field. Dude has a major upper cut swing. The SaraReds facing 10 million dollar man Samadzija. (I am in attendance since I work for the enemy the Daytona Cubs)

I think they may be getting close. Still hear the excuses he hasnt pitched that much and he hasnt had a full season of baseball. He throws hard 94-95 but just cant find a secondary pitch.

Man, has Jukich turned it around. Three bad starts in a row, now three good ones.

Dorn 3-4 with a HR and 2 doubles. Sarasota blows it open 10-2 in B7.

We call that a "Lohse" around here.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Stubbs walks in his first atbat. Stubbs and Votto are tied for the minor league organizational lead in walks with 52.

Pedro Viola was very impressive tonight. Striking out the side in his first inning of work and finishing off for his first save with a strike out. Watched the gun a lil bit and was hitting 92-93 consistently.

Viola is a stud. I'd like to see him bumped up to Chattanooga before the end of the season.
