    Minor League Thieves

    from nola.com

Someone broke into the New Orleans Zephyrs baseball stadium in Metairie last week and stole a Coors Light beer truck containing 51 kegs of brew, according to a Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office incident report.

A groundskeeper for the team discovered break-in Thursday morning when he arrived at the stadium at 6000 Airline Drive. The thieves made off with the truck, $3,061 worth of beer and more than $10,000 in groundskeeping equipment, the Sheriff's Office report said.
Most everything was recovered about 2 miles away, pretty much intact. Only 38 kegs of beer, tho.

Are they sure it wasn't the Miller Highlife delivery guys repossessing the merchandise from a retailer that was overchargeing? (You need to have seen the Miller Highlife commercials for that to have made sense. )

This reminds me of Nigel Thatch, the guy who was traded for 60 cases of Budweiser.

    I have an alibi.

    Wasn't me.

Now had High Life disappeared, then I would probably be at the top of a very short list.

I'm not sure they serve high life at Zephyr field ... except maybe in the suites.
