If this was a home game, that WOULD be the rumor going around, wouldn't it?

That's a pretty ugly lineup, IMO.

We better hope the really, really, really, really good Kyle Lohse shows up tonight.

That lineup looks like Punch & Judy's family reunion.

My goodness. How this team misses Josh Hamilton! Griffey does need the rest--his bat shows it right now, but you never know what might happen.

BTW, any news on Josh's injury?

Josh is eligible to come off the DL next week. His next exam is I believe next Thursday. So we should know more then.

David Ross will rake tonight. If the weather gets better (It's raining), I'll be heading to the game.

    Narron-esque.

Maybe Conine third is a sort of tribute to his Marlins career. Give the away crowd something to cheer about.

    Could get ugly tonight.

Nice. I'm glad to see Pedro Lopez continue to get time. The guy plays a pretty darn good SS.

Don't be so happy. It always rains down here. They'll play.

But it looks like I won't be going. Car just died.

I don't like rain delays. Please stop raining.

    Thank you.

Sorry about your car...that's no fun.

    From Trent

Here's what Pete had to say about Griffey getting a day off: "We had a discussion with Griff, Mark Mann and I yesterday, we all agreed that from here on down, we’re going to pick spots for him to take days off here and there. He’s not getting any younger. He’s going to remain productive, but we’ve got to make sure he doesn’t tire out. Like with Conine and Hatteberg, when it works out well with the older guys, it’s good for him. It’s good for Kenny to keep him as strong as possible because of what he can do for us."

Pete said it would be when things kind of work out for it. ANd it will mostly be against lefties.

Also, Pete said David Weathers wouldn't pitch today. We asked who the closer would be and he said he wasn't sure yet.
