Is there even a pitcher in that league with an ERA over 3.50?
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Plenty.

At one point in the season he was 2-7 with a sub 2.75 ERA. I saw it and just shook my head. I felt bad for the kid.

How about another 8 innings with two unearned runs, six hits, 9 SO and he is on the end of a losing score 2-0 against our Sarasota Reds.

He's going to be a crafty vet by the time he breaks AAA.

Not every organization is hell-bent on progressing every pitcher that's doing well until he reaches a level that tears him apart. Some even consider to be business as usual to have pitchers putting up good numbers at a given level.
    I'm not a system player. I am a system.
