Intentional walk to Dunn. 1st and 3rd with 2 outs.
Intentional walk to Dunn. 1st and 3rd with 2 outs.
Valentin grounds out to 2nd to end the inning. Big blown scoring chance there. 1-1 mid 6th.
Base-running blunder, Whiff, and soft-grounder to second strands the runner at 3rd with nobody out.
Rob Neyer: "Any writer who says he'd be a better manager than the worst manager is either 1) lying (i.e. 'using poetic license') or 2) patently delusional. Which isn't to say managers don't do stupid things that you or I wouldn't."
Welsh, you're dense, the reason Kim wanted to pitch to Javy was because he knew he had the opportunity to get him out without throwing strikes. Kim threw three balls to Javy to get him out.
Willingham strikes out. 5 Ks for Livingston.
That inning showed why one reason why the Reds are bad, dumb play combined with hitters getting themselves out.

Ross and Linden ground out. 1-2-3 inning for Livingston. 1-1 after 6.
Through 6 innings:
Kim 92 pitches
Livingston 86 pitches
honestly I was more bothered by the end of the play where he quit running before he reached 2nd and just walked into the tag. If you didn't bust it at the beginning of the play you can at least hustle at the end.
If Dunn or EE had done it the board would go berserk(and Marty).
Do you pinch-hit for Livingston if there are 2 outs and a runner on?
Livingston is at 85 pitches. This should be Kim's last inning as he's coming up 3rd in the bottom of the inning and he's at 92 pitches going into the inning.

Nevermind, I thought Livingston was the 4th batter up this inning, not the 3rd.

I'd let Livingston hit with 2 outs and nobody on.
