    From Trent

"Asked Pete Mackanin about the rotation he said it was intact until the 31st. After that he said Arroyo, Harang, Livingston, Belisle. Notice anything missing? I wouldn't expect to see Lohse in a Reds uniform again unless it's as a pinch-runner or pinch-hitter."

Oh, you can trade Kyle Lohse. Believe it or not, most contenders want a guy like Kyle Lohse to stick in the 4th or 5th spot.

    Yeah. Belisle's replacement.

Maybe means even if we don't trade him, he's out of the rotation so that we can look at guys like Dumatrait, Gosling, EZ. No sense investing any more time in Lohse after the deadline, as he's not going to be back next year.

Personally i wouldnt mind seeing him out of the bullpen but the reds i guess dont feel the same way. Its just so hard to give up on a guy with his stuff, but I'm positive everyone thinks the same thing.

"Lohse steps on the mound. Shakes off the sign... shakes off the sign...shakes off another sign...finally sees what he wants. Starts into his pitch. CRACK And its a high fly ball!! This one is outta here, a 3 run shot. Man that was right down Broadway...and on an 0-2 count too! I don't believe it."

    ...no thanks. Seen enough.
L.A. manager Grady Little had a bad feeling about Wednesday's game when he saw Harang and pitching coach Dick Pole walking in after Harang's warmup.

"I saw two big men," Little said. "Either could have shut us out tonight."

I agree with Ludwig. He's got good stuff but is plagued by the same problems time and again. He's going to cost way too much money. Adam Eaton, as I remember it, got 32 million for 4; no way I want to pay Lohse that. I hope we'll continue trying to move him until the 31st, then, if he doesn't want to pitch out of the bullpen, just sit him.

There is no reason to put him in the pen. You trade him now and get a decent prospect for him and be done with it.
