Dayton takes a 2-1 lead thanks to a Jason Louwsma solo HR and a Denis Phipps single that scored Juan Francisco.
Pelland: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K
Solid second appearance at Louisville for Pelland. Hopefully he can continue to pitch great and earn himself a spot in the Reds pen next year.
How hard does Pelland throw?
Lets see, Medlock puts up 1.5 year of great work in AA and only the last couple of weeks finally got promoted before being traded, while Pelland puts up 2 months of "ok" work in AA and gets promoted to AAA.
They are sure not tough to find out who they like or don't like.
Johnny Cueto will be opposing this guy tomorrow...
...whoops, wrong Jim Johnson. Anyway, good luck to Johnny tomorrow in his AAA debut.
Everyday Eddie gives up the lead on a solo homer. Tie game 2-2.
