Over / under on this becoming a political thread: 16 posts.
I get poor gas mileage but I have an SUV that I need to transport gear and whatnot. However, I work at home and only drive about once or twice a week.
I used to have a 1990 Chevy 454ss pickup. Basically, a truck with a Corvette engine. That thing was freaking scary! You could peel out just taking your foot of the brake. It got 10 mpg...Good times!
I'd really like to trade the gawdawful, oil-leaking beast I have now (whose manufacturer's name rhymes with Band Over) for a pickup.
I take the under, btw.
I get about 25 empty, about 19-20 with a 3000 pound load, pretty darn good in my line of work.
I get 28-34 MPG in my 12-year-old vehicle.

I'm getting between 24 and 28 depending on how far I am from an oil change and how much I drive places other than work. For an older car, my Malibu treats me better than some.

I usually get 31-32 on the highway alone and when I factor in all my driving I get around 28ish. I live in a rural area right now so almost all of my driving is longer distances if not highway.
Now that I sold my Mustang, I can graduate into the 15-20 class.
Honestly, though, it would be nice have a car with a bit better fuel ecomomy.
About 24, not bad for a V8

My minivan (yes, I drive a minivan) gets about 15 in city driving. I have, however, recently cut back the amount of miles I put on it due to gas prices.
My Maxima gets about 28 MPG on the highway. Very nice.
Unfortunately, it gets a ridiculously low 15 MPG in town, so I average about 18 MPG.

I have a 2003 F350 Powerstroke diesel. I get 18 just driving to work and back. It drops to about 14 or 15 when pulling a trailer (horse or flatbed).

"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner
