Will the rehab last through September 2008?

You can't rush something like that. Look at Guardado. It's been a year and he's still on a rehab assignment. Juan definitely needs to take it easy with this and not try to come back too soon.

Castro's skill set is irreplaceable. Where will the Reds find another like him?

I'm sure he'll be healthy enough to bat 8th next opening day

Juan...do not rush back. With your age, you need to take this very very very very very very slowly.

If I was Juan Castro with the service time I'm entitled to, I say Hasta La Vista and head home.

8th? His contact ability is way too valuable to hit anywhere but 2nd.

Indeed, hope Hopper is leading off, that is one top of the order

It's not quite Deion and Curtis Goodwin but it's pretty close.

No way. Hopper is too good to start. He needs to come off the bench as Dunn's personal defensive replacement.

    Freel needs to lead off.

    1. Freel
    2. Castro
    3. Dunn
    4. Conine

    Btw, I'll set Dunn's RBI total over/under at 70. And that's if he's good for 40-45 HR's.

Conine? I was sort of hoping Wayne would get Olmedo Saenz to play 1B next year.

I'm blaming you now for the idea leaking out. The rest of us had kept quite, but noooooo, you had to go and speak it.

    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
