This A-Rod fella has a real chance at being pretty good.

Really, A-Rod is a guilty pleasure of mine, but I do agree that the Yankees should release him. He is of not help there.
And as tired as I am with Wayne's DFA pickups, I guess that is one that I would give him a slight break on.

I'll give A-Rod the benefit of the doubt because Canseco was never his teammate, so anything Canseco has to offer is probably hearsay. Rodriguez also hasn't had a sudden physical transformation or an eyebrow-raising jump in his numbers. If he's HGHing, he either started reeeeeeeeeeeeal young, or it's not making a lot of difference.

You guys don't recognize our own Jason LaRue as the catcher in the picture?
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

He sure called a good pitch.....

    First pitch of the at-bat.

    Congrats, Arod.

That's just horrible plate discipline and patience.

That's probably how Ryan Freel will hit his 500th, too.

    Makes all the routine posts.

Yeah I am really looking forward to his 500th. Does anyone think that he'll get it this season? He has 476 career hits as of right now.
