    He's throwing batting practice.

....and I guess you could be hit by a batted ball.

    Re: 8/8/07 Minors Updates:

    Indy's scored 7 in the 5th and 6 in the 6th.

Salmon came in and gave up a single before getting the 2nd out of the inning...Carlos Maldonado struck out, who by the way, got the last out of the 5th inning.

Salmon got the next guy to ground out and ended this inning.

Must be fun in Louisville right now.

    Anybody still there?

Coutlangus listens very well. They told him to work on not giving up those lead-off walks. It doesn't appear that he's given up a lead-off walk tonight.

I hope Reds management doesnt destroy Cooter's confidence, the kid has to feel he got shafted.

Key, can you tell us how Coot was last night? Mentally screwed up with the demotion or just didn't have it?

Is this the first time you caught him?

Can Ramirez pitch himself out of a wet paper bag?

Does Salmon have enough to be up in Cincy? How was his velocity? Movement?

    Gracias.

Good questions. I'm interested in what Key has to say about Coutlangus and Salmon as well.

That "7-runs allowed with 2 outs" inning was brutal to watch. Lizard's fastball looked _really_ straight.
