could he be a Red again?

Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com reports that the Padres plan to designate LHP David Wells for assignment Thursday.
He is old and left handed. The Reds GM has to have some manlove due to that.

The Reds will have to sign new advertiser "UPS Freght" in trade of handling transportation of DW.

Maybe we are starting a football team?

Just hand the ball off to Phillips, and watch him run behind a wall of Wells, Stanton, Coffey, Conine and Dunn.

I think the only reason he played this year was because San Diego signed him.. he was only wanting to play there.. my guess is he hangs up the cleats without signing with someone.

He also has a chemical affinity for the Yankee mystique.

Wells aint that fat anymore. He wears exceptionally large uniforms but from what I understand, since his diabetes was discovered, has kept in relatively good shape.

You forgot to add that picking him up would be "reactive" instead of "proactive," and that is the hallmark of Wayne Krivsky.

I'm just glad he isn't pitching against the Reds on Sunday.
