Doug, I checked your site and noticed that Bailey was no longer a top 10 prospect. Is that because he is in rehabilitation or because he is no longer considered a top 10 player. It might also be he is no longered considered a prospect, with his major league experience.

Coutlangous comes in with runners at first and third in the 9th inning and has thrown 6 straight balls.

*edit* The batter swings at the next pitch and ground into a double play and they are now heading to the 10th inning.

Dickerson got kneed in the face by the second baseman when he was going back to second after Janish lined out to third.

    Just wondering.
    I'm not a smart man.
why would you pull Jay Bruce when he would be batting in the 11th?
(or did I see something wrong)

It was a double switch and at the time he made the last out.

I try to update that once every 2 months. At the time I last updated it, Homer was in the majors so I decided to leave him off the list. If I were to put him back on in the mix, he would be number 2 behind Jay Bruce, but well ahead of Votto and Cueto in my book.

What if Miguel Perez can hit? From what I've read, the condition that lead to his rib removal is very painful. Maybe it was hindering his swing? For a guy who hasn't played for so long, he sure is swinging a hot bat.

Frazier probably should have started at the Dayton level. He is hitting with consistency, for average and some power. Next year Reds need to decide on his actual position and start moving him up. Has to make Reds top ten prospects list.

I would just love to see him start in at least Sarasota. I am tired of the Reds starting their top college picks from the year before in Low A when nearly everyone else in baseball starts them in A+ or higher.

That would be nice if he can come up with a .920+ OPS next year the first 2+ months at AA. Something more like .300/.385/.540.

If he continues this pace, he'll spit next year between AA and AAA, then begin 2009 in AAA.
