I see guys coming up from AA and their numbers improve.
I see Major League players like Moeller rip the ball at Louisville.
Cantu since he's been there has an OPS of about .830.

As far as park factors go, Louisville plays as a pitchers park that supresses home runs and doubles. Obviously the pitching is better in the major leagues.

I believe those are just for this year WOY, and 1 year park factors are pretty useless due to the fact that just a bad team or a really good team will do strange things.

A little off topic, but Louisville is an awesome ballpark.

I had no idea that Portland's ballpark was the toughest in all the minor leagues to get a hit in and to score a run. So, a guy hitting .300 in Portland is a .350 hitter in an average park.

These numbers say that the Pacific Divisions of the Pacific Coast League have some of the toughest parks in all the Minor Leagues to hit in. Portland, Sacramento, and Tacoma don't fit the norm of what's normally thought of as the traditional Pacific Coast League.

Take a look at Jay Bruce's home and away offensive numbers for Louisville and it definitely looks like its a pitcher's park. It is only for 18 games at each, so it is a small sample size, but still...
