that was a great pitch..........FOR ME TO POOP ON

What an absolute bomb by Dunn.

One of the furthest balls I have ever seen hit, especially in Miller Park.

    9 games back.
    Go Cardinals tomorrow.

That had to be close to 500 feet. I've never seen a home run like that

His homerun actually hit in like the 5th or 6th row in that section too.. and it wasnt just a moon shot it was a bullet..

It appears the day is coming closer when Adam will no longer be a Red. Stats and arguments aside...man will I miss seeing shots like that...he does it like no other.

What makes you think that? It is still possible to extend Dunn. We will have Bruce coming up, but I would expect him to replace Griffey in right in due course. It will take several years to have a outfielder come up from the minors, and I would not expect the Reds to sign a free agent outfielder. It would seem the best option is to sign Dunn to a short extension, until we can replace his production.

Best option for who? The Reds? Certainly not Adam. Why would Adam sign a short extension here when he can get more money and more years on the free agent market? Because the team's announcers and fans show him so much love?

I must have replayed that shot a half dozen times just to hear the reaction from the crowd when he hit it. That collective sound of disbelief was a LOT of fun to hear over and over.

Dang...he hit that ball hard, didn't he??

It's shots like that that make me want to see him in a Home Run Derby.

I like the Catcher's reaction... That hop was his way of saying "DAAAAAAAYYYYYYUUUUUMMMMM Didnt know balls could travel like that".
