I think its because of the Yankees can use these guys up to fit their needs and if they screw one up, they just go buy somebody else. Votto has turned up the power. How many HR this week? I'm glad to see he can get on a HR roll like this. Maybe he will end up a prototypical 1B after all.

I think getting 300 plate appearances in GABP will help Votto hit 30 HR in some seasons.
