    Well, while it's a very small sample size, he's been teraing it up against lefties: .462/.517/.500/1.017. If Griff is gonna be given the day off, might as well put in a guy who is currently raking against LHP in the 3 spot.

    i don't mind keppinger in the 3 whole with griffey out of the lineup. What i like more is hopper and hamilton back to back.

    At least we don't have a .210 hitter leading off. They also have Damian Miller in the lineup so this will be like a 3-2 game.

    I never want Hamilton leading off EVER, he is too much of a free swinger with too much power to really produce as a lead off guy right now.

    That's my thinking as well. Why have a guy lead off with that much power, let Kepp lead-off.

    Id rather have hopper (if he has a keep a hot bat) leading off because of the speed he can bring.

    If hopper slows down then Keppinger might be a very solid lead off guy because he has a good OBP and solid bat every time he comes up.
