Who would you call up in September?

I have some spare time tonight, and September will be here before you know it, so why don't we vote on who we want to be called up next month. We are allowed 40 players, so we can bring up quite a few. I voted for everyone but Coffey, Smit , and Dumatrait. Coffey needs to work for next year, Dumatrait had his chance, and Smit needs some more development.

I saw him as on the 15- day DL on the 40 man roster. I assume he could be ready by September.

How can you call someone up if they arent even in the minors?

Why don't you want us to see the results, Armarillo?

I believe the results will be seen at the end of the deadline a month away. The poll has a time limit, and the results will known to everyone on 9-29-2007 at 10:29 pm. In retrospect, I should have had it known to everyone from the start. I will reveal the current results so far because of my oversight and periodically do it: Homer Bailey 13 votes 65%, Todd Coffey 3 votes, 15 %, Jon Coutlangas 14 votes 70%, Marcus McBeth 14 votes 70%, Brad Salmon 13 votes 65%, Alexander Smit 0 votes, Pedro Lopez 4 votes 20%, Chris Dickerson 5 votes 25%, Phil Dumatrait 0 votes, Jay Bruce 8 votes 40%, Joey Votto 19 votes 95%

they will definately call up Cout, Coffey, and probably McBeth. They will want the extra arms for games like last night. I know Guadaro, Saarloos, and Gosling pitched well last night, but I would rather be sending McBeth and Cout out there in situations like that anyway. I would also call up Votto to see what we've got, and Dickerson for an extra OF instead of Ellison. If Bailey is healthy, I would give him some starts in Sept. as well. By the way, I'm not too excited about Coffey being back, but I think he definately will be.

I really doubt any moves for people not on the 40 man are made

They did not wait until September for Coffey. He was brought up today when Livingston went on the DL. I put Bruce on the list, but it was clear during the interview yesterday that Krivsky will keep bruce at Louisville the rest of the year.

Votto, Dickerson, Herr, McBeth, Salmon. I would say Bruce but he needs to play everyday and he wouldn't have a spot.
