Todd Frazier singles (now 2-for-2 with a double and single) and scores on Brandon Waring's 13th homerun of the year. Waring has enormous power.

    Brad Salmon: 3 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 1 K. Why are they stretching him out for?

    Pelland threw a 1-2-3 8th with a strikeout.

76th XBH on the year for Jay Bruce. 43 doubes, 8 triples, and 25 homeruns.

McBeth threw a 1-2-3 9th with a strikeout for the save.

All of the Reds top relief prospects pitched today - Brad Salmon, Tyler Pelland, Marcus McBeth, Pedro Viola, and Josh Roenicke.

Unfortunately he wasn't traded to the Cards where could excel under the tutelage of Dave Duncan.

You have to figure McBeth and Salmon will be recalled next week.

I think they are stretching him because they know he's the best pitcher not in Cincy right now and the open role is for a "reliever who can gives us length."

If that avoids any recall of Saarloos or Santos I'm all in favor of it.

    Fisher

5 IP, 8 H, 3 BB, 2 ER, 1K. This would unfortunately qualify as one of his better outings the last month.

All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Yeah. I think so. This pen needs a couple more hard throwers. Who do we have now? Burton, and Bray? Thats horrible.

Billings is down 14-9 in the 9th.

Todd Frazier is 3-for-5 with a single, double, and a triple, leaving him a homerun shy of the cycle.

Brandon Waring is 3-for-4 with a single, two homeruns, 4 RBI, and a HBP. That's 14 homeruns for Waring.
