Growing up watching Dave Concepcion play shortstop at Riverfront, it was heart warming to see his just due last night in having the number 13 go up on the facade at GABP. Nobody's more deserving than Davey and it was a real cool to see his emotions take over and to see just how much this honor meant to him. Couldn't help but get misty eyed myself last night. Watching those guys together is like being at a family reunion.
As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.
Its great to see Davy get his due, he seems like a nice well liked man who just happened to be the best shortstop of the 70's.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.
Now someone give him his just due please, the HOF.
