The Pirates' announcers are not describing what just happened in any manner which is intelligible.

I have no idea what just happened.

It was a force at second at which point Hopper is free to return to the bag.
School's out. What did you expect?

Why a force? Where was the ball hit? They didn't even say that...

Runners on first and second, Phillips hit a flare to the OF which it looked like Nady caught on the fly, he threw to 2nd and it appeared to be a double play, but the ump ruled the ball was caught off a bounce, so since junior didn't run, he was forced out after he and Phillips both stood on first. Really just a bizarre play.

The Reds keep getting extra outs and have nothing to show for it.

Thanks humn. That fills in the blanks. The Pirates' announcers pretty much took a pass on anything approaching a description of that sequence.

I think that either Cantu or Keppinger will be at 1B in Game 2.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

When the FO decides it's time to dump some money into this team, a RH bat who kills LHPs should be near the top.
