read my first post in this thread.

As for the curveball thing, I counted 17 curveballs in 5 innings. He has thrown 1 change up that the announcer has called. There have been about 5-8 pitches that were not called as anything other than ball, strike, hit, out....

    Homer Bailey - 6th inning

Batter 1 - FB for a single into the outfield.

Batter 2 - Curveball high, ball. Missed that last pitch, but it was a strike. Foul ball. FB gets fouled back. Low and outside, ball. Chopper to first, but foul. FB gets fouled off again. Curveball up, ball. pickoff attempt. FB goes to the wall for a double. Runners at 2nd and 3rd.

Batter 3 - FB low, ball. Announcer says Bailey looks to be tiring. Tie game on a 3 run HR.

And that is the end of the night for Homer Bailey.

With all of that done, I am going to go grab some dinner before the rest of the games kick off for the evening, plus I have the Reds and Bearcats football games to follow as well at 7. Busy night sports wise.

Jose Rojas in for relief of Bailey.

Its sad that it had to end that way but why was he out past 5 innings? Its only his secend start back.

Louisville leads 1-0. Jay Bruce singled and Mark Bellhorn doubled, moving Bruce to 3rd. Jeff Bannon then grounded out to SS but Jay scored.

Jay moved up to third on bellhorns double and scored on bannons groundout. Just wanted to clear that up.
