Doubt that 600 would have any bearing on whether or not he would get traded.
Griffey puts people in the seats. I doubt he is going anywhere.
L.A. manager Grady Little had a bad feeling about Wednesday's game when he saw Harang and pitching coach Dick Pole walking in after Harang's warmup.
"I saw two big men," Little said. "Either could have shut us out tonight."
If they are planning on trading him I think its a waste of time to wait until he hits 600, unless of course they do it at the deadline.
I really doubt they trade him at all really.
I think if the deal is right to an AL team for him to be a DH, and he agrees to it, I think the Reds jump at it in a heartbeat.
He might possibly be traded next year at next year's trade deadline, but it is doubtful.
I don't see the Reds trading him at all. However I also don't see him staying a Red after his current contract is up.
