Chattanooga didn't score in the top half of the first against former Reds' farmhand Travis Chick. Dorn and Henry both singled. Sam Lecure up on the bump for the Lookouts.

No score middle of three for Chattanooga. Lecure has walked one and struck out one in his first two frames.

Valaika, Turner and Gutierrez all with one-out singles in the bottom of the 10th to lift Sarasota to a 5-4 in extras. Sarasota trailed 4-0 early, but 5 hitless innings in relief gave the lumber time a chance to come back and win. Denham and Medina were both excellent in relief.

Travis Chick is sticking it to the man tonight by limiting the man (represented by the Chattanooga lineup) to no runs on four hits through five. He has struck out the man nine times so far. Sam Lecure has tossed a quartet of goose eggs back in Chick's face.

I would say that is great, but Votto deserves to go before, or at the same time. Imagine what that would do to Votto if Bruce got called before him.

Brandon Waring's homeruns are actually getting kind of lame at this point. #20 on the year.
