Sunday September 2nd minor league updates

Louisville plays later tonight. Matt Maloney is the scheduled starter.

Chattanooga is underway. Adam Rosales tripled in his first atbat for his 70th XBH this season.

Sarasota is also playing.... but Milb.com is about as slow as can be right now and I can't get any of the pages to load. Last I saw they were up 3-1, but it was about 30 minutes ago.

Also a note, The Pioneer League named its All-Star team and the Mustangs had 2 players named: Michael McKennon (DH) and Luis Montano (SP). Brandon Waring did not make the team.

The 3B AS was Jay Brossman who hit .345/.387/.481. Not quite the same as .304/.363/.612 I guess.....

Homer Bailey will NOT be allowed to pitch for Sarasota in the playoffs due to his 'veteran' status, whatever that means. Probably has something to do with him being in the majors. He will stay in Sarasota to work and pitch though.

Thats horrible. Why is he still down there then?
If you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.
