Monday September 3rd minor league updates

Louisville, Chattanooga, and Dayton finish their regular seasons up today. Sarasota finished up yesterday. Sarasota begins the playoffs tomorrow while Dayton starts on Wednesday. Chattanooga narrowly missed the playoffs as did Louisville. And Billings still has five games remaining , though they also missed out on the playoffs.

Louisville and Chattanooga play at 1:05 today and Dayton plays at 2:00.

On the road again....hopefully to Cincinnati???
If you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.

Then why not go ahead and call up Votto yesterday if they weren't going to start him today?

They're the Reds? I don't think that they think things through too much.

Joey Votto is on the field today.... coaching first base.

Johnny Cueto with a 1-2-3 first inning.

Since Chattanooga isn't going to the playoffs I would probably limit Cueto's pitch count today.

I can't wait for the Louisville game to end so we can see who's going to get called up

It has already been mentioned that Krivsky traveled to Louisville and personally told Bruce he would not be called up in September.

Cueto with 5 strikeouts through 4 innings. No runs. Not sure on hits or walks, as I have been trying to take care of some other stuff while listening to the game.
