I agree, but I confess to being a total curmudgeon when it comes to sports. I believe a man should act like he's been there before. Score, hand the ball to the referee, get back to work and save the celebrating for the locker room.
Guys who watch their home runs deserve to take one in the rear end on the their next at bat. Receivers who create elaborate endzone celebrations deserve to have their heads take off on the next crossing pattern. Lineman who pound their chests like gorillas after sacking a quarterback deserve nothing but fruit and salad for a week.
Or...whatever happened to unsportsmanlike conduct?
