Young vs. NO or Hasselback vs Cincy?
Young vs. NO or Hasselback vs Cincy?
I don't think Hasslebeck will have a good game vs. Cincy. I'm not saying that because I'm a Bengals fan. I just think that they are usually victimized by a quarterback with a great tight end to throw to.
On the other end I don't know what to think about Young Vs. New Orleans. I think that he is a terrific weapon though. Everybody saw what Cincy was able to do last year against the Saints, after they established the run. That usually opens up the field a bit. It will all be on his arm this week I think.
I would take Young.
-LTlabnerIf you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.
young
Pretty sure any non-Bengals fan, or realistic fan would have to go with Hasselbeck. The only thing is, the Bengals run D is so bad they might just hand off the whole game.
Young is a great QB for the Titans, I just don't think he is that great for a fantasy team. Isn't that game AT New Orleans too? I don't like that match up.
I think I would start Young. Hasselbeck only really has Deion Branch to throw to since Hackett is hurt. Alexander will get the ball a lot this weekend.
My dilemma for the week is:
Galloway vs STL or Cotchery @MIA
and
DeShawn Wynn vs SD or Jerious Norwood vs CAR (RB3 slot)
I'd keep starting Galloway while he's healthy.

Young vs. Hasselback has been a push so far basically. Hasselback was better slightly in week 1 and Young was slightly better in week 2.
I'm going with Young.
Lots of bengals fans. I go with Hasselbeck without a doubt.
On the other question, I go with Galloway and Norwood
300+ yards, 5 TD's for a QB with ZERO NFL wins. Anderson was about to be cut in the preseason, and just about every Browns fan wanted him cut. Start Hasselbeck.
Ronnie Brown vs. Jets
Derrick Ward vs. Redskins
Cam Cameron has said the Dolphins would focus more on the running game this week. Ronnie Brown received the lion's share of the carries last week (an underwhelming 11), and usually torches the weak Jets run defense.
Derrick Ward put up impressive numbers in a losing effort vs. a good Green Bay defense last week, and the Redskins are no great run-stoppers themselves (4.5 ypc this season).
I'm leaning towards Brown, probably because I want to justify my 3rd Round pick.

Romo @CHI or McNabb @DET?
I'm having a hard time believing in McNabb right this second, but starting Romo at CHI is tuff.
I'd probably go with McNabb at Detroit. He's struggled this season, but we know what he's capable of. Plus, there's probably only a handful of QBs I'd be willing to start against Chicago (much less in Chicago).
I've got an interesting situation at both RB and WR right now. So far, Andre Johnson (along with T.O.) has carried my team with excellent production at WR, but Johnson's apparently out this week. Here's my options.
Pick two WR:
Reggie Brown vs. Detroit
Devery Henderson vs. Tennessee
Patrick Crayton @ Chicago
Consider a FA or two
I've thought about picking up another WR, but I'm not sure. My #1 WR is T.O., and I'm not too high on starting two Dallas WR, especially against the Bears. There's a couple guys like Amani Toomer, Bobby Engram, and Mike Furrey available in FA too so they may not be bad options either.
My RB scenario isn't as bleak, thankfully, though I've gotten little production out of them so far.
Pick two RB:
Larry Johnson vs. Minnesota
Laurence Maroney vs. Buffalo
Clinton Portis vs. NY Giants
I've been starting Johnson and Maroney, though neither have yet to find the endzone so far this season. Johnson hasn't rushed for many yards either, but he does seem to be involved in the passing game a bit more. Portis has two TDs already this season, and he has more rushing yards than both Johnson and Maroney.
The Lost Decade Average Season: 74-88
2014-22 Average Season: 71-91
I'd go with Brown and Crayton at WR. Furrey is an interesting waiver pickup, too.
At RB, stick with Larry Johnson. Chiefs home opener + LJ angry = 100 total yards and 2 TDs.
Also, go with Portis. The Pats like to split carries and Sammy Morris is a TD vulture.

First rule of fantasy football - always start whatever QB is opposing the Bengals
That goes for RB's and #1 and #2 WR's also.
Never deviate from this rule as long as Chuck Breshnahan is the coordinator and Mike Brown owns the team.
Never...it's gotten me to two SuperBowl's the last two years.
