Makes me think of a quote from one of my favorite movies "Waiting...": "It's like being the smartest kid with downs syndrome."

Navy wins 46-43 on a FG as time expires, Navy coach jumps in the pile of players on top of the kicker

UK pulled out a good one in the end.
In those things which we commit to practice we can master, and with mastery we have the freedom to use these skills whenever we desire, without this practice we are slaves to our inability.

My alma matter laid another egg today.

Arizona will be the sleeper in the Pac-10 yet again next year. It's always next year. 3-8 here we come.

    What about the BIG BLUE???

    4 and 00000000000

Darren McFadden is going to make some NFL team very happy next season -- WHAT A BEAST.

I really thought UK was done there for awhile. So many turnovers on both sides of the ball...

It turns out Nick Saban isn't the savior of the universe in Tuscaloosa. Maybe he can be the savior of the universe in Arizona?
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.

Should be 5-0 next week, then the real test begins.

South Carolina in Columbia, then LSU and Florida in Lexington. I have a feeling the game against the Tigers will be when Andre Woodson's INT streak ends.

I heard that Little was hurt tonight? That will be key if true, but if Dixon and Locke can keep it up, the offense will be in good hands.

It feels nice to have a team to pull for once again.

It sure was nice being able to wear my Syracuse jersey with pride tonight. That doesn't happen very often.

Dear God no - I want someone who will stay a few years.

I think Stoops was the right hire four years ago, he just hasn't panned out. He's a fine coordinator & coach, but some guys just aren't cut out to be the CEO. He's one of them. He costs them at least 2-3 games a year due to poor game management skills.

Arizona has more natural resources to build a football powerhouse than all but a handful of NCAA schools.

Thanks to Lute Olsen's basketball success & people like Artie Moreno, the school is always flush with cash, has 300 days a year of sunshine, excellent facilities, a rabid fanbase that still sells out despite 13 wins in four years, and it's a short hop skip and a jump away from the rich, fertile SoCal recruiting areas.

It makes me sad with some longing when I see other schools that hired new coaches around or shortly after Stoops was hired and watch them now see success (hello Tyrone Willingham).

    Oh well, such is life.
