    Redlegs v. Giantheads 9.22

SAN FRANCISCO -- Homer will get two more starts

    Here's the change in rotation:

Please note the following change in the Redsí rotation. Bailey will pitch Tuesday and Sunday, Shearn will pitch Wednesday.

Tuesday vs Houston, RHP Homer Bailey vs RHP Juan Gutierrez
Wednesday vs Houston, RHP Tom Shearn vs LHP Wandy Rodriguez
Thursday vs Houston, RHP Matt Belisle vs RHP Matt Albers

Friday vs Chicago, RHP Bronson Arroyo
Saturday vs Chicago, RHP Aaron Harang
Sunday vs Chicago, RHP Homer Bailey

That weekend series vs Chicago could be VERY tough for the Little Bears.

I find it amazing that some of the contenders say that teams out of it do not try to put their best team on the field.

I would say the Cubs might complain the Reds are trying to much to best the team on the field.

If I am the Brewers and win the division during the last series of the year, I would be sending the Reds something with a Big Thank YOU.

It just goes to show that Pete is making his mark on this team and deserves a shot next year. He is not giving up even during the last weekend series.

Harang, Arroyo and Bailey proves to be a tough starting rotation for any team, let alone the Cubs who are making a push to win the division.

Well...then if they do win the Central, they will have truely earned it.

    I'll applaud that any day...

That is actually against the rules of baseball, and you can actually be banned from baseball for such a thing.

I think they should send us Hardy or Sheets.

Doesn't look like that series is going to matter. Cubs are now up 3 1/2 games. The Brewers on their last breathe and fading fast.
