As for greatest cover of all time, I'll still go Ms. Franklin's "Respect".

Quick question, how many others pronounce Devo as dih-voe with the accent on the second syllable? That seemed to be an in thing among a number of folks I've known.
I've always pronounced it DEE-voh, as it is pronounce in the song Jocko Homo - "Are we not men? We are DEE-VOH!" To accent the second syllable makes me think of Bell Biv Devoe.

I like Sparks, though I think of them as very different from Devo.

And the great thing about the song "Respect" is that both Otis's and Aretha's versions are fantastic.

Devo re-invented "Satisfaction" and in the process improved upon the Rolling Stones' most overrated song by a longshot.

Spending much of my youth in Cuyahoga Falls, I played soccer for a number of years with Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh's first cousin.

More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that's not only better, but also more directly involves me.
