    2008 Schedule?

Does anyone know when next season's schedule will come out? It always comes out before the end of the season so you'd think it'd be soon.

I just hope we don't play the Cubs again on Opening Day. I'm getting tired of playing them first so much.

    From son of sam horn
According to a source familiar with the first draft of next season’s schedule, Houston and Cincinnati are in line to be the two sites the Red Sox [team stats]will be visiting in the interleague portion of their 2008 campaign.

If the Red Sox come here, do the Reds go to Yankee Stadium?

That's the scuttlebutt. Of course anything's possible including playing them here and not playing them at all.

There are 6 teams in the NL Central and 5 Teams in the AL East. Plus you will always have Cleveland in the rotation.

Someone is going to get left out. I'd personally rather play Baltimore.

I'd rather leave the D-rays out.

According to the first article the Reds will open with D-Backs in 2008. The second article says the Yankees are tentatively scheduled to play the Reds at home. And the third article states that the Red Sox will be coming to Cincy in 2008. I got all these articles from dbsforums.com.

I was planning on going to Yankee Stadium next season anyway because I want to see it before they close it down. If the Reds are there, I will certainly be planning my trip around that.

How do the Padres fit in an interleague with the Reds, Astros, & Pirates?

And, yeah, mark me down for Reds-Yankees in the Bronx.

My dad (who is a Yankees fan) called me last week and said the Reds are going to be at Yankee stadium next season.

He lives in Jersey, so I will be there.

Word is the Reds will play road interleague games at New York, Toronto, and of course, Cleveland.

According to John Fay the Reds have four 3 city road trips next year. So they are stuck with the long road trips again.
