Does anyone know who is carrying the one game playoff on Monday for the NL wild card (Pads vs. Rocks)--i know ESPN Radio will have it (and I have XM)--but who is carrying it on TV?? Is anyone?? Or will it only be available to Extra Innings subscribers??

Yeah, I just don't want the Padres to win, because they are the exact opposite of the Reds.
If you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.

I dont think ESPN is carrying it---they are not carrying any of the postseason on TV--and they sure did not promote any TV coverage during the 6pm Baseball Tonight--and they dont miss any opportunity to "pimp" their programming.

Thanks GoReds---do you have an actual first pitch time?? (Not pre-game)--Ive got a bad ffeling about TBS coverage--as much as we knock ESPN; I wish they were covering the division series..

because at the end of the day, they still are the Chicago Cubs, and they will figure out a way to screw this whole thing up--Marty B.

Should be an interesting game, anyone know who's got the call for tbs? I'll take the Padres to win just because Peavy is pitching.

I will also be pulling for the Rockies. I would like to see Colorado make the play-offs.

Was it just me or were the announcers for the Rockies/Padres game on TBS really sub-par?

Re: NL playoff for Wild Card on TBS

I disagree--i found the announcers for the monday tiebreaker on TBS refreshing---no over hyperbole (like Tim McCarver is prone) or needless profiles (wives, families, etc)--just emphasis on the game...I think I may have protested too much about TBS having the division series....the only minus I found was (sadly) Cal Ripken Jr's "analysis" during Gamebreaks...he didnt add anything and didnt seem prepared..
