Of course the injury to Juan Palacios puts a damper on things. Can that guy every get healthy? Wonder if Rick is serious about redshirting him?
Yeah, he's something of a mystery. But the Cards will be good (and potentially great), even without 100% from Palacios.

There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.
Pitino threatens to redshirt an injured player every year but he never does. Palacios has never lived up to his potential and the Cards could survive without him. Personally, I'd rather see Williams, Clark, and Caracter at the 3 and 4 and less of Palacios. Besides he will only be out 4-6 weeks.

He won't play. There is too much talent in front of him and he's very raw.
