Ryan Jorgensen no longer a Red

Transaction: Catcher Ryan Jorgensen refused an outright assignment to the Minor Leagues and elected free agency on Thursday. On Sept. 7, Jorgensen was suspended for 50 games for violating the league's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Jorgensen was with the Reds from on Aug. 14-26 and played in four games, batting .200 with two home runs and six RBIs. The 28-year-old batted .237 in 73 games this season for Triple-A Louisville.

I hope Ryan can get a fresh start on another team.

This should really kill our minor league rankings.
If you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.
