maybe you could get some pitching for either Edwin or Votto.

IMO.. You'd get more out of Votto then you would Lowell at 1st.

The Red Sox better keep Mike Lowell. Another player who you'd have to have rocks in your head not to love.

Wow.. bases loaded / one out with Lugo headed to the plate.

If Lugo ever needed a time to redeem himself.. now would be the time..

Yawn. Why? Lowell has put up poor years for his money and just because he makes a nice play you think we should debase our offensive future for a "pitcher", who probably won't be enough to even sneeze at? Relax.

I hope you are right. I just like how Mike Lowell plays baseball. Always have.

Lowell's stroke was made for the Green Monster.

Skinner's bonehead "call" completely changed the mometum of the game. I can't believe Betancourt implodes if they tied the game there. This will go down with the "shot", the "catch" and the "fumble". Cincinnati's teams have shown ineptitude for some time now, but ability of all Cleveland teams to choke when so close is perhaps worse.

It's turned into a blowout now. Indians have come back 44 or so teams to win, but the well ran dry when it most mattered.

11-2 Sox in the bottom of the 8th and still only two outs.

New Prediction: Co-MVP's Dustin Pedroia and Kevin Youkilis

I guess we are going to get to see the Sox win 2 World Series in our lifetime. Who would have thought that?

This makes sense though - now the network can roll out their Rox vs. Sox on Fox banner - it will be cool, because it triple rhymes!

    Doubt it.

It SHOULD be Beckett. It'll probably be Youkilis.
How, then, are those people of the future—who are taking steroids every day—going to look back on baseball players who used steroids? They're going to look back on them as pioneers. They're going to look back at it and say "So what?" - Bill James, Cooperstown and the 'Roids
