No question who the better team was, but Cleveland really choked. ESPN and all of the national media will be pleased, as will Bud Selig.

I think the best two teams are meeting in the World Series.

Yep. Hope it's a good one.

Agreed - I am disappointed that the Indians did not make it, but I still like the Redsox a lot.
Here is hoping for a classic seven game World Series.

Could it be? No titles for all those years for the Sox, then two in four years? The Bambino may have lost his touch.

I'm not sold on the Rockies other than they have had an incredible run.

They've had the best ERA in the National League since the All-Star break, and they scored the second most runs in the National League overall.

I'd say that's dominance in both run creation and run prevention.

This may be blasphemous to most Rox fans, but I think they're a better team when Wily Tavares is not in the starting lineup. During the run (when Tavares was hurt), the put Tulowitzki in the 2 hole and had a very good #7 hitter in Ryan Spilborghs.

Since Tavares has been back they've had a couple judy hitters at 1 and 2 in the lineup (Tavares/Matsui). It's great to have Tavares' glove (and it worked out just fine in the NLCS), but I liked the Rockies better when spots 2 through 7 in the lineup had a great shot at getting extra base hits at any given time.

30 runs given up in the last 3 games, that is a melt down.

I hate the Red Sox. Next year, Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz will hit new levels of relaxing the uniform rules by being totally naked in the dugout for the final inning of the ALCS. And never to be out-weirded, Jonathan Papelbon will simply give Jason Varitek a gentle kiss at the mound after the final out. Ugh, I hate the way that team behaves.

The more experienced team won the Alcs rather than the more talented imo. If Carmona and Sabathia pitch as they have all year, the series never would have reached game 7. Other than Beckett of course, the Sox starters are vulnerable.

It's very likely that the Redsox have the Bambino's ghost on their payroll....
