    Numbers I've heard floating around re: Yankees-ARod are 10 yrs. - 275M.

    The Yanks had reportedly offered an 8 yr.-240M extension to his current deal before he opted out.

    The reports are saying that if he does return to the Yankees, it will be -$21M that the Yankees lost out on (that Texas was paying) prior to the opt out.

    That's still insane to give anyone in theri 30s a 10 year deal. I don't care how deep your pockets are.

    But if this can at all contribute to Scott Boras' losing face, then I'm all for it.

    Yep, I just got a text message from my brother saying A-Rod's going to sign with the Yankees for those numbers.
