Going to the Rose Bowl any tips?

I found out today that my wife's boss is giving my wife and I a trip to the Rose bowl and all the festivities all expenses paid and was wondering if anyone has ever been or had any tips on stuff to do while we are there. I thank you in advance.

Make sure you leave in the year 2007 and return in the year 2008.
Some people play baseball. Baseball plays Jay Bruce.

Go to the bathroom before the parade (if you go, which I don't advise).... trust me. I think I did permanent damage to my bladder as a 12 year old who had to hold it all through the '95 parade of roses.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

What are your travel dates? What airport are you flying into? Renting a car? Where are you staying? What kind of restaurants do you like and what kind of other 'touristy' things do you like to do?

Let's start there and I'll see if I can be useful.
