    Fantastic news.

Every time I watch the show I think it's the best drama on tv.

It's definitely up there. Best drama on network TV for sure.

Very glad it'll be around another two seasons.

Wonderful news! I love this show so much and I'm glad they're keeping it on the air. I've really been enjoying this season and I'm glad I'll get two more seasons to enjoy after this one!

Sorry for digging up a really old thread, but it was the only one I could find just for the show.

Congratulations to Kyle Chandler for his Emmy win last night!
Coach Taylor is one of my favorite characters ever and Kyle Chandler was brilliant at playing him.

Kyle Chandler wasn't the only FNL winner. Jason Katims won the best writing award for the finale. Congratulations to both guys.

    Re: Friday Night Lights

I have to admit after watching this show for it's entire five year run and becoming so attached to all the wonderful stories and characters, I broke down and cried with happiness when Jason Katims and Kyle Chandler's names were announced the other night. What a crazy and awesome upset! That recognition was way overdue for the show to finally get some love from the Emmys. I've been over the moon all week and am extremely thrilled for all of them. I had a little tiny sliver of hope that the show might get recognized too for Drama Series but Mad Men was going to be tough to beat so that didn't shock me too much. Clear eyes, full hearts, can't (and didn't!) lose!!!
