Edwin Encarnacion switches numbers from #12 to #28

Sorry if this has already been posted...

Who will wear No. 12, Edwin Encarnacion or Dusty Baker?
    -- Tom L., Cincinnati

Baker has taken over his familiar No. 12 from Encarnacion, who switched to 28.

Or maybe he just told Dusty: "Don't bench me for any old dudes, dude, and the number is yours."

I wonder if Billy Hatcher will switch to his old #22, which is now vacant.

Personally, I think the player is more important to the team than the manager... Edwin should get to keep his number!

Edwin should have asked for 14.

I wonder if Homer Bailey might want #22. Kerry Wood wears #34. Nolan Ryan/Roger Clemens and all that...

Cantu and Encarnacion switching numbers.. could Harang be next?

Nuxhall wore #39 and one would think the Reds are going to want to retire that now.

They've been playing baseball a long time. A lot of players. Soon they'll have to ask for irrational numbers.

Irrational number=A number that's been awake for a week on a drug bender.

The Yankees will probably need to start using letters eventually. Like the Enterprise. NCC-1701-E
