    70s chicks were hot.

    Not that it matters.

Check out the Lawrence Welk shows from the early-mid 70's. The fashions were hilarious!!

My oldest daughter (preschool age) used to love watching those reruns on the weekend. She liked the short songs and I got a kick out of the clothes.

I just came across some photos at my parents' house of me waiting for the bus my first day of school in 1975. Plaid pants and a dark blue shirt. I'm like a mini-Jack Nicklaus.

My buddy has these in his basement, the last owner left them. They are comfortable chairs. He will be receiving this in an email later, ha ha.

I recognize this exact shirt. Either my Dad or one of my Uncles had it.

Go to an Indie rock show and you'll see these fashions have indeed made a comeback. And it's a nightmare for those of us who actually grew up back then. Silly trendy kids.

Pretty much whatever was popular 30 years ago or so will be back in style in some manner.

I am going to make myself a Beer can hat this winter so I am ahead of the curve.

My daughter saw the DVD "A Concert for Bangladesh" and now, for Christmas, she wants a hat like Billy Preston wore. Big knit stocking-like cap that fit over a 70's-style 'fro that the brothers wore back in that day.

I don't know where to begin to track something like that down.
She used to wake me up with coffee ever morning

They're "Tams" and they are pretty easy to get, I know women who used to sell really nice ones for a couple of hundred of bucks a hat.

    I have one in fact.

At least she wasn't asking for the macrame beer can hat.
Wear gaudy colors, or avoid display. Lay a million eggs or give birth to one. The fittest shall survive, yet the unfit may live. Be like your ancestors or be different. We must repeat!

Big fan of BP. I'll have to track down that DVD. If anyone knows of any other DVDs he was on (especially playing the Hammond B3) I'd appreciate a shoutout

(I already have Clapton's "One More Rider" BTW, and the Beatle's "Let it Be" video)

Parting shot...no fan of the BRM should have anything bad to say about any of those pictures!

That kid in the fourth picture down could be me. Holy cow I looked just like that little man. Bowl cut, smile, freckles...I'm going to post my first grade picture and we're going to make a poll out of it.

    Unreal.
