My oldest daughter (preschool age) used to love watching those reruns on the weekend. She liked the short songs and I got a kick out of the clothes.

Go to an Indie rock show and you'll see these fashions have indeed made a comeback. And it's a nightmare for those of us who actually grew up back then. Silly trendy kids.

My daughter saw the DVD "A Concert for Bangladesh" and now, for Christmas, she wants a hat like Billy Preston wore. Big knit stocking-like cap that fit over a 70's-style 'fro that the brothers wore back in that day.
I don't know where to begin to track something like that down.

They're "Tams" and they are pretty easy to get, I know women who used to sell really nice ones for a couple of hundred of bucks a hat.

That kid in the fourth picture down could be me. Holy cow I looked just like that little man. Bowl cut, smile, freckles...I'm going to post my first grade picture and we're going to make a poll out of it.
