The prior coach they hired was previously Toledo's defensive coordinator. If you've even casually followed Toledo football that 1-33 record wouldn't be the slightest bit surprising. That was a laughably bad hire.
I live in Terre Haute. Noone here really cares, honestly.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.
