    Why can't the Reds?

Look to the Marlins as a trading option for some pitching? Last I recall Scott Olsen was not exactly enamoring himself in their clubhouse. They also have some other options that might be worth exploring considering they probably have some desire to improve the offense.
    2006 Redzone mock Draftee's- 1(st) Daniel Bard(redsox), 1(st sup)( Jordan Walden (Angels), 2(nd) rd.- Zach Britton(Orioles), 3(rd) Blair Erickson(Cardinals), 3(rd) Tim Norton( Yankees),(cuz its a Tim Hortons thing

    Re: Why can't the Reds?

I think really good teams can take on problem children like Scott Olsen [see Patriots re: Moss, Randy] but I don't think a team clawing to be competitive can absorb a guy who is known to cause problems in the clubhouse and the community.

I think there are some matches between the Reds and Fish, but I'm not sure Olsen is a target I'm seeking unless some one convinces me he's misunderstood and is a good guy who just needs a good leader like Dusty to reel him in.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Cincinnati Bengals - None
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98
