Pedro Alvarez, the consensus #1 prospect in the country heading into June's amateur draft, broke his hand this week and is expected to be sidelined a minimum of six weeks. Could this mean the stud 3B could slip to the Reds in the draft? Obviously there is a TON of baseball to be played between now and then, but keep an eye on this intriguing situation.
Alvarez, Matusz, or Beckham would be an unbelievable coup for the Reds.
