    Adam Pettyjohn article

Found a nice (albeit 7-month-old) article about recent Reds signee Adam Pettyjohn. After reading this I'll be rooting for him this spring, and after seeing his numbers in the PCL last year, he might just be a fun little sleeper to keep an eye on.

Performance, Patience and Perspective...that right there was a great lesson to learn while reading about a non-roster invitee.

Thanks for posting this, it was a good read. Seems like he has overcome a lot of obstacles to get back to where he is now.

I'm guessing that he would start out at AAA but not sure what the Reds plans are. It looks like the Brewers used him strictly as a starter last year and he had pretty good results. However, two years ago he was used as a reliever primarily and performed better. I'd like the see the Reds use him as a reliever, I'm already inclined to believe that he'd likely outperform Stanton.
