    Steroids: They're for entertainers too

Is Congress going to hold hearings for this too or can they just tag along with the baseball people?

Re: Steroids: They're for entertainers too

The Times Union of Albany cited unidentified law enforcement officials in reporting Sunday that R&B music star Mary J. Blige, rap musicians 50 Cent, Timbaland and Wyclef Jean, and award-winning author and producer Tyler Perry may have received or used performance-enhancing drugs.
I'm pretty sure that 50 Cent was taking them only to help recover more quickly from his shootings.

If 50 Cent is on performance enhancing drugs, I would truly hate to hear him perform clean.

    Just sayin.

Looking at the quality of most of the pop music out there today, I can't say that taking performance enhancers has helped much.

I wonder if Keith Richards ever snorted steroids?

I don't know if it's steroids or chicken feet, but the guy's on something:

Now this is just laughable. Why would a celebrity refer to them as PEDs anyway? I doubt Mary J. Blige is going to try her hand on the baseball diamond anytime soon, so what "performance" of hers is she enhancing, exactly?

Maybe they misunderstood the term "performance enhancing"?

I can see how entertainers would be interested in steroids and HGH. Often their "look" is almost as important as their singing or acting ability. Many entertainers have extensive workout regimes in order to maintain a fit profile. I could see an entertainer seeking a "boost" to get more out of their workouts.

Actually, I'm surprised Carrot Top wasn't on the list.

Wear gaudy colors, or avoid display. Lay a million eggs or give birth to one. The fittest shall survive, yet the unfit may live. Be like your ancestors or be different. We must repeat!

I think with the rappers, they take it so it will improve the chances of them saying "Motha Effa" every five seconds.
