    Number five was hilarious.
If you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.

With all due respect RFS62, I beg to differ.

My picture can kick your picture's butt.

I do love that shot of Ben, though.

Name the tourney, the hole, and the year. And name what he took on the hole.

And you can keep your Cassius Clay, or Muhammad Ali.

I think #29 - the Bobby Orr goal - was the best. Things in hockey happen so fast. One second a guy is skating down the ice the next second there's a goal. The timing of that shot and the photographer catching Orr in mid-air to score the Cup winning goal was remarkable.

I do like the one RFS contributed and was surprised that wasn't in there. I thought that captured Ali perfectly as far as his personality goes.

Sixteen months after a near-fatal car accident, Ben Hogan mustered enough strength to compete at Merion Golf Club. Needing a par at the 72nd hole to force a playoff with Lloyd Mangrum and George Fazio, Hogan hit his famous 1-iron approach to 40 feet and two-putted for par. The next day, Hogan won his second of four Open titles with a 69, beating Mangrum by four and Fazio by six.
That's the famous 1 iron shot, I believe.

That had to be one of the most courageous feats ever in sports. I believe that was still when they played 36 holes in the last round. The man was not even a year and a half from suffering tremendous injuries from that car wreck but he had to walk 18, 18, 36 and then 18 holes in the middle of summer and he wound up winning the thing. Remarkable.

More courageous than skating in the Olympics after having some thug bash your knee with a pipe?
