    Street off the Block

For all those who felt Cordero was not enough for our BP to to be respectable and were pushing to sign Huston Street, the A's resigned him for a year.

    Terms: one-year $3.3M.

I would have given him more than that and for at least 3 years.

He's arb eligible. All this means is that they signed him to a 1 year deal to avoid arbitration. The A's still own his rights for 2 more years after this. He could still be traded and it doesn't effect his value in anyway. But it would be a horrible move to trade for him.
