    Dukie V is so in love with supporting the Jimmy V Foundation (nothing wrong with that, btw) I'm sure he would have gone along with a roast.

    For what I remember hearing is that they offered to be roasted to raise the funds. I guess the ESPN head honchos approved.

    Good point. Vitale is one of the Foundation's biggest advocates. Seems like he would have been a good choice. Maybe he turned them down?
